Greetings from SCORE, South Central Indiana, Chapter 522
The South Central Indiana Chapter of SCORE is part of a national nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and the formation, growth and success of the nation’s small businesses. SCORE volunteers serve as “Counselors to America’s Small Business.”
Our SCORE Chapter volunteer counselors provide free and confidential business advice tailored to meet the needs of your small business and your personal objectives. These same counselors are involved in community outreach programs within our educational institutions and social service providers such as Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
SCORE volunteers are real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge and experience who donate many hours to help small businesses in our area succeed. Counselors have experience in many areas of business such as accounting, law, finance, marketing, management and business plan preparation as well as operating nonprofit agencies. If your business initiative requires borrowing funds our counselors will work with you to get you prepared to visit one of the region’s banks.
Every SCORE chapter is designated a certain geographical region of the State in which it is expected to provide counseling service. In the case of Chapter 522, South Central Indiana, our charter’s area of service includes Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, Orange, Scott and Washington counties. If you reside outside these counties and no other SCORE Chapter is responsible for providing service to your county then feel free to contact Chapter 522 and we will be pleased to try to be of assistance to you.
Chapter 522 has ten counselors anxious to be of service to you. Our office is located in New Albany, IN and easily accessible. You will find our counselors to be very client-friendly and unassuming individuals assuring you of a comfortable and informative experience.
